Robert and Joanne Moore are this week's winners of our wine haiku contest. They sent their submission -- a haiku trilogy! -- by email after visiting our tasting room. Thanks, Robert and Joanne!
Here's how wine is made.
Pick grapes, crush them, ferment them.
Clarify them and wait.
Store in a barrel.
Pour it, put a cork in it.
Let it sit awhile.
Now enjoy the wine.
Red, white, dry, full-bodied, sweet
So many flavors!
